Pick of the Week: Scent of a Woman

What We Like: Roberto Cavalli Acqua

Why We Like It: Now while the Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum was well received in 2012, a successor only has that much more to prove, and in our opinion the Roberto Cavalli Acqua does complete justice.

A refreshing scent that would be an instant hit with the women courtesy its floral undertones, is well neutralised with sensual notes of musk to achieve the perfect balance.

Inspired by the Mediterranean, Acqua falls under the cool scents category and would work very well for those who prefer lighter fragrances that aren’t too overwhelming.

Reapplication is recommended every six hours, as is a prime spot for the perfume on your table. The packaging is in true Cavalli style very glamorous, what with a curvaceous blue bottle sealed off with a rich gold ornate monogrammed cap.

And how can a Cavalli creation forgo the animal print? It features as a small ring around the neck of the bottle, and prominently at the base of hard box cover.

At Rs 5,200 (75ml), Roberto Cavalli Acqua is worth a blind bet for any woman, whether it’s a personal purchase or a gift.

Available at all ShoppersStop outlets.
